ITU Employee of the Month

ITU Employee of the Month

Marley Withrow
November 2009

Her boss says she "consistently has one of the highest number of completed service requests in our Desktop Support Services team." We say that she is the November ITU Employee of the Month! Congratulations Marley Withrow of TSD Desktop Support Services on receiving the November ITU EOM award.

Marley's customers reach far and wide across Mason as a Field Service Technician and her customers have no problem commenting on her work. Cathy Ford from Student Health Services states that Marley, "has been more than helpful when the Immunization Office has had any kind of IT/Computer problem" and that, "we would be lost without her and our computers would have crashed." Multiple customers, including the academic units, have also commented on Marley's promptness and efficiency. Lisa Cunningham stated, "She is absolutely wonderful and always gets her work done quickly and efficiently. She has gone above and beyond for me, personally, and as well for the department."

Marley is seen as "one of those rare IT techs that can easily explain complex tech problems and solutions to her un-tech clients." One office praised Marley's planning of an installation that they expected to take a full two days, but Marley completed in one day with minimal inconvenience to the staff. As for her attitude, everyone praises Marley for her positive, cheerful demeanor and eagerness for growth that she brings to her work everyday. Praised by her supervisor for her efforts to become an Apple Certified Macintosh technician, Marley is always looking to improve her service to customers.

Let's see if we can bring an even bigger smile to Marley's face as we celebrate her achievements and present her with the official ITU EOM crown.
